Since the new year began, IHAO supported by UNFPA Iraq – صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان العراق, funded by Embassy of Finland in Baghdad – Suomen suurlähetystö Bagdad, and in cooperation with IADO, has been spreading awareness about the disability centers and it’s services around the neighborhoods through mobile teams, to familiarize new comers to the activities of the center and what it can provide. Such as, vocational trainings and sports, like basketball and ping-pong, as well as psychological support.
Through this, IHAO gets closer in achieving its goals; providing a safe space for the younger generation, and helping them grow into a future with equality and quality.
