Main Tasks: 

• To manage the work and performance of the programs department and support them in their work. More than 260 field staff from 5 governorates are being supervised from 6 different projects.
• To attend meetings representing the NGO like Health Cluster Meetings, Protection Meetings, meetings with funding partners, and meetings with stakeholders.
• To hold frequent IHAO programs meetings with related staff.
• To coordinate the projects with the Head of Operations and the Executive Director.
• To come up with an annual programs strategy in consultation with the Executive Director.
• To come up with new project ideas and apply them to possible funding partners through writing proposals.
• To ensure projects are following their targets and indicators.
• To attend training workshops to sharpen necessary skills.

Name: Abbas Nazar

Job Title: Project Manager

My main tasks are : following up with the doctors and facilitators in centers to make sure all their needs are met and that the services provided are aligned with the international  standards also I’m responsible on  the coordination of trainings. I joined IHAO in 2020. I graduated  with a bachelor degree in medicine and general surgery. My hobbies are video games, reading books, listening to music and basketball and my favorite food are burger and chicken.

Jaafar joined IHAO in 2017 as a medical officer. After working effectively to develop IHAO’s projects and being guided by the Executive Director, Ms. Hala Al-Sarraf, he became Head of Programs in 2019 and managed IHAO’s numerous projects in different sectors and various governorates. Jaafar strived to enhance IHAO’s projects in both quality and quantity and solidified its relations to its partners. He focused on long-lasting project impacts and sustainable strategies to implementing different interventions and was able to notably expand the organization’s geographical presence, funding streams, partner organizations, and sectors of work. In late 2020, Jaafar became Board Advisor for IHAO. He now concentrates on developing guidelines, procedures, and internal control mechanisms for the organization through working with IHAO’s staff and Subject Matter Experts. He also invests in seeking opportunities for implementing new projects with donors as well as training IHAO staff on a diverse range of topics.

Name: Aram Gakavian

Job Title: Reports Officer & Data Manager

I’m responsible for  reporting all UNFPA healthcare services and I’m  providing the technical support to all the programs. I joined IHAO in 2019. I graduated from the university of technical management with a bachelor’s degree in information technology. My hobbies are camping, scouting, hiking, fishing, and site seeing and my favorite food are filet mignon and pork ribs.

Name: Zahraa Azher

Job Title: Program Coordinator

My main tasks are to prepare work plans and coordinate with the program and field staff to ensure the proper implementation of the project. I joined IHAO in 2020, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in medicine and general surgery.
my favorite hobby is digging deep into human history and my favorite cuisine is Italian.

Name: Gasia Khaloian

Job Title: Communications Officer

My main tasks are write, edit, and distribute content for media and designing. I joined IHAO on December 2020, I graduated from Al-Mansour university with a bachelor’s degree in english language. My hobbies are drawing/painting, basketball, scouting and my favorite food is steak.

Name: Mousa Al-Mosawy

Job Title: Ex - Board Member & Head of Operation

Mousa joined IHAO in 2008, with his project First Aid Link. Mousa reviews grant agreements to ensure conformance with IHAO policies and procedures on a voluntary basis. Mousa graduated with Juris Doctorate from Boston College Law School. Mousa enjoys performing spoken word poetry and reading up on issues impacting BIPOC. Mousa’s favorite dish is Bean and Dill Rice with Lamb Legs and Garlic Yoghurt, It’s every bit as good as it sounds.

Job Title: Finance Officer

I’m responsible for submitting reports with documentation and preparing the  monthly salaries. I joined in 2019. I graduated from Baghdad university with a degree in English language. My hobbies are swimming, reading poetry, cycling and makeup and my favorite food are all kinds of pasta.

Name: Zahraa Soliman

Job Title: HR Officer

I’m responsible for the recruitment procedure from the announcement until the received offer and  also I’m managing all documents for all IHAO sits. I joined IHAO in 2018. I graduated with a bachelor degree in civil engineering from  U.O.B. My hobbies are cook, read and shopping and my favorite food are chinese food and cheesecake.

Job Title: Logistic Assistant

I’m responsible for all orders and purchases in the organization, I joined IHAO in 2020. I graduated with a bachelor degree in computer engineering. My hobbies are gaming and traveling and my favorite food are steak and fast food.
