In response to the call of DOH of Holy Karbala Governorate, which is a gathering place for visitors in several religious occasions that make its residents more prone to catch COVID-19 infection than others, and the commitment of the Iraq Health Access Organization to increase the number of vaccinated people in Iraq and limit the morbidity caused by the virus, IHAO, in cooperation Holy Karbala DOH and with support from the members of the organization and through self-financing, supported a vaccination and awareness raising campaign about the COVID-19 vaccine targeting 2,500 residents of the geographical area surrounding Al-Amn Al-Kakhli PHCC, with a population of 34,989. This campaign will continue for five days, and is considered a trial phase to start testing the efficiency of the team before launching an ambitious project targeting 200,000 residents.
