As part of its cooperation with the Ministry of Health, Iraq Health Access Organization funded a training course entitled “Trainers Session for Community Volunteers in Family Planning”, which is among the activities of the National Strategy for Family Planning and Birth Spacing Action Plan for the years (2021-2025). The session was held in cooperation with the Department of Public Health – Department of Reproductive Health in Baghdad.
The training had participants from several government agencies affiliated with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. Also, included the participation of representatives of non-governmental civil society organizations, which were represented by Iraq Health Access Organization and Umel Yateem Foundation, with a total of 12 participants.
