Yesterday, 10/10/2022, a review meeting was held for the project “Community Mobilization for COVID-19 Vaccination (CMCV)”, to discuss the successes, challenges, coordination, and sustainability to bring awareness in the community on vaccination against COVID-19.
The meeting included representatives from the UNFPA – Iraq, Iraq Health Access Organization, Directors of the Health Immunization Department (EPI), Health Promotion Department (HPD) in the Iraqi Ministry of Health, provincial division directors, and International Health Department (IHD).
The achievements and challenges in each governorate was discussed, and what can be done in the future to spread awareness on a larger scale throughout Iraq, and discussion group was held among the attendees to suggest different new approaches and sustainability plans for similar projects in the future.
