In celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Iraq Health Access Organization, funded by The Children’s Village and the Iraqi Children Foundation , held an event to support persons with disabilities. It included the distribution of wheelchairs to people with disabilities of different age groups, in the presence of representatives from the Health Department in Anbar, the governor’s office, the Fallujah mayor’s office and other organizations.
IHAO’s work presented alongside the distribution, in efforts to focus on the needs of people with disabilities in the community and not to neglect them or condone their rights.
