Peer Education Training (ToT) for Younger People With Disabilities

Iraq Health Access Organization established a Peer Education Training (ToT) for younger people with disabilities in order to grow the effective communication among them when raising important topics related to their own issues and in order for them to learn how to communicate with other young people to spread awareness about different topics. Presenting these topics will increase and motivate young people with disabilities to communicate with each other and to also visit the youth centers of the project to empower young people with disabilities in Al-Hadbaa, Al-Qosh, and Bartela – Nineveh Governorate.

IHAO provided this training in cooperation with IADO, support from UNFPA, and funding from the Finnish Embassy. The training lasted for five days and dealt with important questions and discussions that builds communication abilities between the participants.
