Human rights include more than just providing services, whether health or other, as the protection and dignity of human beings are one of the most important legitimate human rights and within the Iraq Health Access Organization’s endeavor to guarantee all rights.
As part of its efforts to enhance the capabilities of its staff. The organization responded to the invitation of Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) to participate in a training aimed at supporting the capacities of workers in the medical or judicial sectors, on how to use forensic evidence in documenting crimes of sexual violence and torture, and how to document survivors’ testimonies in accordance with international standards. The training was conducted in Erbil for three days, from the 8th to the 11th of September.
