Iraq is currently going through a transitional phase after moving from the humanitarian relief phase to the development and reconstruction phase. Iraq Health Access Organization participated in the first conference to formulate integrated strategies for development and training in state institutions. The conference was held in the Shabeebi Hall of the Council of Representatives, under the Secretary-General of the Council of Representatives, Mr. Safwan Al-Bashir. The attendees consisted of Mr. Sadiq Jumah Al-Mohammedawi, Deputy Secretary-General for Administrative Affairs. As well as, the participation of representatives from the development and training departments in the executive and judicial authorities, local organizations, and the private sector.
The conference presented working papers to the participants, and there were discussions and proposals regarding a unified strategy for training and development. A coordinating team was formed from the conference participants to continue working towards the establishment of the strategy. Afterwards, the conference recommendations were determined to outline the initial steps for commencing the process in high coordination among the participants.
