ICF Partnered with IHAO to Support Al-Qawsiyat Centre for Adolescent Girls

In 2011, Iraqi Children Foundation partnered with IHAO, both NGOs worked with MOLSA teams on developing capacity of staff working with orphans, people with disabilities and homeless children through the engagement of trainers and specialists from The Children’s Village.
Building upon years of cooperation, and since late 2021, ICF partnered again with IHAO to support Al-Qawsiyat centre for adolescent girls in Talkaif, Mosul. Al-Qawsiyat centre constitutes a safe space for many girls with a rough domestic life like Lena, who frequents the centre to get psychosocial support from the social worker, and spend quality time with other girls her age, away from the troubles of her daily life.
