Discussion Session Regarding Case Management and Referral System Between Organizations and Governmental Institutions

Iraq Health Access Organization has conducted a discussion session regarding case management and referral system between organizations and governmental institutions, the session was presented by IHAO, and the participants included, UNFPA, MoH, Community Police, Family Protection Police, Kirkuk Governor’s office – Woman Empowerment Department, Iraqi Amal Association, UIMS, Heartland Alliance International, and Handicap International.
The session discussed the case management process in Governmental Organization and Institutions, the session focused on the referral system in specific, and coordination between those institutions, and locating the existing gaps and challenges, including how to accommodate returnees and further involve them in the local community, as well as, providing the livelihood, security, and healthcare and legal services to meet their needs.
These points were identified and discussed as it was an effective meeting on the importance of periodic coordination and meeting to update and coordinate the organizational work for the service of the Kirkuk community.
