Our dedicated center of excellence team of Basra, supported by UNFPA Iraq – صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان العراق, and funding from Korea and Sweden, have been spreading awareness and educating women about the importance of taking care of their health and family planning, which directly affects the well-being of their families. At the center, we emphasize the significance of regular check-ups, screenings, and work done to ensure optimal health for women. By providing this knowledge, we empower women to make informed decisions about their well-being and take charge of their lives.
Family planning not only promotes economic stability and better resource allocation within households, but it also helps reduce maternal and infant mortality rates. By spreading awareness about family planning, we are actively working towards healthier communities.
