In recent years, the number of adolescent girls participating in sports in Al-Qawsiyat Center has been on the rise. This is increase helps girls form friendships with other girls in the same age range and learn to be more physically active. On Saturday, 5th of November, Iraq Health Access Organization (IHAO) with support from Iraqi Children Foundation (ICF) conducted an event aiming towards encouraging young girls to be physically active and gifts were distributed to participants in the sports activities.
The plan is to expand this project by adding more goals and objectives with an eye towards 2023 through incoming support from partners, as Al-Qawsiyat center provides sustainability that the community in Mosul needs.
