As a part of the advocacy mission against gender-based violence, Iraq Health Access Organization held a discussion panel on the concept of gender-based violence in Ninewa Governorate, supported by UNFPA-Iraq, and funding from KOICA Iraq Office, Baghdad and the Swedish people.
Gender-based violence is a societal problem. Domestic abuse, early marriages, and human trafficking are all examples of it, both offline and online. The discussion introduced Al-Quds OSAC Centre in Mosul, and the comprehensive services it provides to people who have been through the abuse mentioned, helping them heal and overcome trauma.
