October is here, which is also International Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Let us join hands and raise our voices to spread awareness and support those affected by breast cancer.
Breast cancer doesn’t discriminate – it can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, or background. However, together, we can make a difference.
A reminder, on the importance Self-examination, and how to do it:
– Stand in front of a mirror and check for any changes in your breast’s size, shape, or skin texture.
– Raise your arms and look for the same changes.
– Lie down and use your fingers to feel for any lumps, thickening, or unusual changes in your breast tissue.
Remember, not all lumps are cancerous, but it’s crucial to consult your doctor if you find anything unusual.
