Iraq Health Access Organization understands the importance of equipping young women with the knowledge and tools necessary to protect themselves against gender-based violence and many other important topics to young girls. Through our comprehensive training and sessions, we hope to empower these girls to take control of their own safety and well-being.
We also recognize that it is not just about prevention – it is about providing support and resources to those who have already been affected by GBV. That’s why we made sure to offer a variety of psychosocial support sessions to help these girls process their experiences and develop healthy coping mechanisms in our Women’s Support Centers. Which are supported by UNFPA Iraq – صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان العراق, funding from Norway, Canada and Finland.
