During an important month for women and gender equality, Iraq Health Access Organization, supported by UNFPA – Iraq, and funding from Canada, Norway and Sweden, conducted awareness campaigns about gender-based violence and equality in Beiji Women’s Social Center and about cyber bullying to young girls in schools around Beiji. Through these campaigns, IHAO was able to reach out to a wide range of audiences with the message that cyber bullying and gender based violence should not be tolerated. Additionally, the organization provided resources for victims of such crimes so that they can access help from reliable sources.
