Iraq Health Access Organization hosted a discussion panel on the notion of gender-based violence prevention in Ninewa Governorate as part of its advocacy mission against gender-based violence, with support from UNFPA-Iraq and funding from KOICA and the Swedish people.
The session opened up a safe space for everyone to speak about the issues, solutions and other measurement, which could potentially help overcome gender-based violence. The conversation also focused on Al-Quds OSAC Centre in Mosul and the comprehensive assistance it offers to persons who have experienced the abuse, assisting them in healing and overcoming trauma.
