The Iraq Health Access Organization participated in a conference about “Strengthening the Role of Women in the Political Process in the Kurdistan Region” organized by the Accepting Others Organization, with the participation of many governmental and non-governmental organizations and agencies.
AOO held discussion sessions on the importance of increasing women’s participation in parliament and the roles of decision-making in government posts, and it was agreed that positive and necessary changes can be achieved by women to move forward. Many questions were raised and discussed during these sessions to enhance and strengthen the role of women in society.
