Last week, Iraq Health Access Organization had the honor to accompany the Finnish ambassador to Iraq, Matti Lassila, on his visit to the city of Mosul, with the Honorary Consul of Finland in Iraq and IHAO’s management. The visit included a meeting with the Governor of Mosul, and a visit to Baytna Foundation for Culture, Arts and Heritage, with a number of colleagues representing local organizations.
Mr. Lassila praised the efforts of the youth in restoring life to this ancient region and spreading hope in Mosul. The Ambassador and representatives of local organizations discussed plans and means of mutual cooperation.
