Al-Qawsyiat Center provides adolescents girls with a safe space, where they can express their feelings through educational and sports activities, free from the stigma and judgment. Since 2021, the center has grown to be a source of positivity, not only on the lives of these young girls but also their parents.

One of the most important roles for the parents is to listen and care for their children’s needs, be it physical or psychological. Our social workers try their hardest to give that extra push to connect the parent with the child when needed.

Your support is important as well. Whether it’s from inside or outside of Iraq, the decision you make matters and affects the lives of each and every girl in the center.

So get involved, be the change.
